COLLABORATIONS
Payal Pratap X Bemberg
This collaborative range experiments with satins, muslins, mulmul, and silk blends to create a collection replete with fluidity as well as structure. The fabric takes printing and colour beautifully and has a slight sheen and glazed feel which resonates with chintz. The colour palette ranges from indigos, browns, rust, to burgundy, brick and gold. Bold prints, large floral patterns exhibit an exuberance which is hard to contain. This is clearly a return to maximalism, reminiscent of the good old days.

PAYAL PRATAP X JJ VALAYA
The Alika Project
Payal Pratap X JJ Valaya present the Alika Project for Swarovski at an exceptional exhibit showcased over a celebratory evening at the Bikaner House. Conceptualised in 2017, a hybrid between a shirt and a jacket, the Alika shares its DNA with the indian traditional garment, the ‘Sadri’. Each design includes crystals from the Swarovski library including the scarlet red, pacific opal, crystal with pearl hot fix along with sew-ons and fancy stones in colors of Gold patina, Luminous Green & crystal Golden shadow. A one of a kind Payal Pratap interpretation for the Alika Collective by JJ Valaya, in a rare coming together of the design community for the shared love of craft.
